Christmas eve 2013 is one that will be long remembered in St Vincent and the Grenadines. A devastating tropical storm hit our country, changing the life of thousands of people. The extreme heavy rainfall resulted in massive landslides all around the island. Especially a few communities were hit very hard and houses were swept away by the landslides that came down on them. 8 people died when a landslide took their house, 5 more are missing and hundreds and maybe thousands of people lost their houses.
At Richmond Vale Academy we had a lot of water and some minor damages, everything is fine here. All teachers and students are fine and healthy.
