RVA Climate Compliant

To become a model school in St. Vincent we aim to produce our own food, energy, be disaster secure and harvest rainwater.

Right now we have pigs and sheep for meat and will start producing egg, chicken and rabbits in 2013. We are improving the organic vegetable and herb production.
To become energy compliant we have just set up a biogas experiment and we are applying funds to produce electrizity from solar panels.

Rainwater is harvested for the vegetable garden and we are investigating how to collect more rainwater to use for washing clothes.

Our fruitgarden has more than 20 different fruit trees and we produce juices, in recycled bottles for sale at the local market. We are well on our way to become a sustainable school!
