
The programs at Richmond Vale Academy demand out-of-the ordinary teachers. The teachers at Richmond Vale Academy have as their biggest passion to create a life changing and high quality program, teaching and training adults to make a difference in the world.
Stina Herberg is the academy’s headmaster. She was born in Rjukan, Norway and has for the past 25 years worked with education, enviroment and development projects in Angola, Mozambique, Denmark, Norway and USA. Jesper Friis is Danish and trained at the Necessary Teacher Training College at Tvind. After working as a teacher for youth with special needs for 10 years, he trained for and worked with developing networks, websites and programming tools for schools. Gabor was born in Hungary. He started as Development Instructor with Planet Aid UK in 2007 went to Namibia and participating in TCE project. After 6 months he returned to United Kingdom and continued working with Planet Aid UK in clothes and shoes collection. Now he is involved in Fighting with the Poor program as teacher. Katalin Lovassy is from Hungary and after finishing her university studies in Social Sciences she decided to work as a Development Instructor with the Humana movement. She trained at DRH in Norway, than spent 6 months at the National Headquarter of Humana People to People in Mozambique involved of the activities in the school sector. Nowadays she is working at RVA engaged with the Climate Compliance Conference as the teacher. E-mail:

Edit is from Hungary. She joined Humana People to People Movement in 2007 as Development Instructor. She was trained in Norway than went to Chimoio in Mozambique and worked as a teacher in DAPP School. After her volunteering program she worked for Planet Aid UK as promoter helping with raising fund for educational project in India an Africa. Now she is a teacher of one of the Climate Compliance Teams.
