Richmond Vale Academy Today

Thank you for visiting our website!

In the writing moment we are 40 students and staff connected directly to Richmond Vale Academy.
In 2012 we started two new programs: The Climate Compliance Conference and The Fighting Shoulder to Shoulder with The Poor program.

Current students are right now present in St. Vincent and Ecuador and soon also in Belize. In Latin America our students are working with The International Humana People to People Movement and in St. Vincent we have started a 10 year program to protect St. Vincent against Global Warming and Climate Change.

The goal of the Climate Compliance Conference is to make St. Vincent and the Grenadines food, energy and disaster secure. Students join for 6 months at the time. It is a standing conference that will take action over the next 10 years.

Richmond Vale Academy has in 2012 become an acredited distance learner school with One World University in Mozambique and students on the 18 months Fighting with The Poor program will take exames and earn an A-certificate. An A-certificate equals a half BA and corresponds to 1200 study hours.

We run two income generating projects - One is a Garden Farm and the other is a Nature and Hiking Center.

At our Garden Farm we produce vegetables, fruit and meat for own consumption and we produce banana, lime and passion juice for sale.  The Nature and Hiking Center host people from around world to hike the volcano, walk to the waterfalls and to study horses.
